Stäni Steinbock was born among polar bears on the streets of Helsinki, Finland. Luckily they didn't eat him, so he started playing guitar, then mandolin, then banjo and harmonica, later, after moving to Stockholm, Sweden, even kantele, the Finnish national instrument.
He still rides the very same motorcycle as when he was young.
